One of my absolute favorite dollmakers!

DuBuhDu Designs is the wondrous craft-site of Christine Alvarez and her doll creations. It is always a treat to see her latest ladies; she did a doll that represented Air last year with tiny little dragonflys that was breathtaking!

Christine is having a giveaway of one of her latest collection of dolls! You can either select one of the dolls on display, or she will make one just for you!My name is going into the pot for the drawing, and you can put your name in too! Check out her site above and good luck! If you win, you have to let me hold the doll when you get it! http://dubuhdudesigns.typepad.com/

I got the Martha Stewart Lobster Red (an AMAZING color) and a pretty turquoise, MS GEYSER, and MS YELLOW MAGNOLIA. Love the turq, used it on a small table for my patio.
Using the red to paint a frame for a 54 year old oil painting done for me by my aunt when I was a baby. She had amazing talent; sadly she suffered brain damage when she was born (lack of Oxygen). Her cognitive skills were affected, and she was like a jolly 8 year old girl till she died at age 80+. What she could have done had her life been different! So, I re-varnished the painting, and will hang it at home. I also have a paint by numbers done by my grandfather on the other side. Framing that too. Will send photos of that and of my Sandy-and-other-great-masters wall in my bedroom!
