welcome gift or creepy?

Just for fun and experience, I tried to paint a portrait of my niece from a photo she had online.
It was a good exercise, and I learned from it; my boys talked me into giving it to my niece for her graduation (along with something else too!). Now i look at it and I wish I hadn't given it too her. There is nothing worse than a bad portrait that you feel stuck with because it was done by a relative......sigh...live and learn I guess.

I think it's cool and you captured much of her essence.

Hola! May I please use an image from your blog (maybe the header image) to make a thumbnail link back to you from mine?

Do you mean the little girl? That was me looking sultry at about 3-4 years old. I think I was also looking down at my new shoes from my grandmother! She gave the neatest stuff!
Sure. ;)
You would be the LAST person I would worry about doing something inappropriate with it!
